Teaching Spanish to Beginners in SL

Abstract:

Teaching languages in SL is always a challenge, both for teachers and students and this challenge increases when it comes to teaching beginners. In this presentation, we are going to describe our experience designing, creating materials,  and teaching a course for Languagelab called "Spanish for Tourism" aimed at enabling beginners to use survival Spanish when travelling to a Spanish-speaking country.  The presenters will also discuss the evolution and lesson learned during the  planning process.
